OnlineSummit treats corrections and rights requests as part of the research record. Choose the request type that best matches the issue and include the page URL, the specific field or passage, and supporting evidence.
Report an error
Use this for incorrect dates, titles, session types, topics or other factual metadata.
Include the affected URL, the incorrect value, the proposed correction and a primary source when available.
Request a correction
Use this for a summary, takeaway, claim or context note that is inaccurate, incomplete or misleading.
Identify the exact text and explain the correction. Add a timestamp, page number or official statement when possible.
Copyright or takedown request
Rights holders may request review of embedded, quoted or linked material.
Include your name, authority to act, the affected URL, the protected work, the requested action and a reliable way to contact you. We may ask for further evidence before acting.
Speaker identity correction
Use this for mistaken identity, name variants, titles, organizations or speaker-role attribution.
Include the speaker page or talk URL and an official biography, organization page or other authoritative source.

Include the current source URL, the replacement URL, the publisher and why the replacement is more authoritative.
Response times
- We acknowledge complete requests within 3 business days.
- Straightforward metadata corrections are normally resolved within 7 business days.
- Credible urgent rights or safety requests are reviewed as soon as possible, normally within 2 business days.
- Complex identity or source disputes may take longer because we verify against independent primary material.
